Wickwar Wessex Pub Company are delighted to announce a new and exciting partnership with Clifton Rugby Football Club.
Clifton RFC is a historical Bristol sporting institution that perfectly aligns with the Wickwar Pub Company values that celebrate sportsmanship and community.
The Rugby club was formed at Wickwar’s very own pub site, The Kings Arms located at the top of Whiteladies Road, over 150 years ago on the 27th of September 1872. The pub is proud to display the original commemoration plaque that celebrates the forming of the club and dates all the way back to the club’s very first meet up.
Kicking off the partnership this September, The Kings Arms are thrilled to be hosting the club’s 150TH year celebrations, with food and music, ex players in attendance and guest speaker, the Birthday party is sure to be a night to remember.
